Koller Special Purpose Vehicle Super Suction Machines
With our Koller special purpose vehicle super suction machines, work can be performed almost contact-free and very gently, virtually eliminating the risk of damage when working near pipe, cable, and utility lines.
For compacted soils, the ground is loosened using drilling lances with high-pressure water or compressed air tools.
The material is sucked into the stainless steel tank via the suction hoses and boom, propelled by the high vacuum airflow.
This airflow poses no danger to cables or pipelines, as larger lines are generally indestructible, and thinner lines offer only a small surface area for the airflow to affect.
With our Koller special purpose vehicle superstructures, we can vacuum dry, liquid, and pasty media, even over long distances and in difficult terrain.

With a suction hose length of up to 60 meters, we can reach hard-to-access places such as containers, basements, shafts, construction pits, and attics.
Our strengths in suction services include
- The environmental and neighborhood impact is very low, as 98% of any dust remains contained within the special vehicle.
- Our super suction machines only operate when material needs to be transported.
- High performance in all weather conditions.
- This results in time and cost savings for our customers.
- Our daily output compared to manual removal is enormous.
Suction work is performed with low noise, low emissions, and dust-free. We utilize optimized vacuum liquid ring pumps with high air performance and special separation chambers.
Currently, 3 high-performance suction vehicles, with capacities of 4,000l, 12,000l, and 15,000l, are in use for our customers.
Economic Advantages
Significant cost savings in manual excavation (over 60%!)
The super suction excavator is profitable with as little as 25% utilization.
Up to 12 times faster than manual excavation.
Breaking up, suction, and transport with a single vehicle.
Suitable for severely restricted spaces.
Only one suction excavator operator required.
What can be vacuumed?
Soil, gravel, water, sludge, crushed rock, larger stones (up to max. 12 cm Ø and 35 kg), dust, granules.
Pellets, feed, corn, grain, soy, meal/flour, wood dust/wood chips/wood chippings, powder/sand/salt.
There are no limits to the applications of our suction excavators.

Our Koller special purpose vehicle super suction machines can be used in all locations where conventional excavation and loading of excavated material onto a truck is not feasible. These super suction machines combine excavation equipment and material storage in one unit, requiring significantly less space than a truck and excavator combination.
The vibration-free and non-invasive precise excavation allows for digging shafts or trenches only as large as necessary for potential pipeline repairs. This saves time and increases efficiency.
- In contrast to manual excavation, our super suction machines can move significantly larger quantities of material. Many tasks become very costly due to manual material transport, which can be prevented by using super suction machines.
- Thanks to the special purpose vehicle chassis, the job site can be reached quickly, eliminating the need for complex excavator transports and additional equipment. This provides clear advantages by reducing setup times and costs, and ensuring short response times, which delights our customers.
- With our super suction machines, an average of 3-15 m³ can be excavated per hour, depending on the material and suction hose length/diameter.
